Gannor Characters
The adventurers who brave the deserts and intrigues of the Gannor Empire.
Boffin
Gorin Hendiihold (Godi Morradaaksson)
A tall dwarf with reddish-blond feathered hair, a beard of gold traced with silver, ruddy skin, and eyes the colour of a clear sky. He bears the scar of a drow sabre across his face and was trained to weave spells whilst clad in light or medium armour. A survivor of the ruined Fortress of Mordaak, he is watchful to the point of paranoia, deeply scholarly, and never to be parted from his weapons or spellbooks.
His father, the High Rune Priest Morradaak, reared him amid sacred texts. After the Empress Averness laid waste to their fortress in her hunger for wealth and power, Gorin helped to found the village of Runebaak upon Ghendoa. He now serves the Dwarven Resurgence Movement, charged with seeking out the scattered dwarven communities throughout the Gannor Empire and leading them to their new home in Hendiihold.

Companions
Calcryx
A white dragon who first joined the company as a wyrmling during the delving of the Sunless Citadel. Chaotic and unpredictable, Calcryx behaves much as a restless child of ten years — difficult to hold and harder still to command. After being aged forty years by the Horrifying Visage of a Dwarven Ghost in the Forge of Fury, the wyrmling grew into a young dragon in truth, and the company has grown ever more wary of their scaly companion. She travels most often alongside Erebus.
Jot
An imp bound to Erebus by contract through a homebrewed rite of Find Familiar. Unlike a common familiar, Jot cannot simply be called back from the void — should he perish, he returns to the Hells and the pact is broken forever. He travels with the company as a sharp-tongued wretch who takes great delight in hurling insults at all within earshot, and serves as a most colourful foil for the Dungeon Master.
Genex
A loyal white wolf who walks beside the ranger Carlane upon her journeys through the lands of Terin.
Quest Givers & Allies

The legendary proprietor of the Yawning Portal inn. Durnan serves as a central contact for those who seek adventure and peril, and he is known throughout the region as a man who can always point a willing sword toward a worthy — and dangerous — quest.
Torlum
A dwarf of Baker’s View and a friend of Durnan. It was Torlum who engaged the company to map the ancient dwarven Forge of Fury and, if fortune permitted, recover four legendary weapons from within its depths.
